"Any time at all, all you gotta do is call, and I'll be there"

John Lennon and George Harrison are my personal two favorite Beatles. Don't get me wrong, I love love them all, but ask me which two I like apart from the group the most and there it is. They both fascinate me, but what fascinates me even more was the friendship the two had. I always get the feeling they were closer to each other than anyone else in the band, especially after the breakup. I love them both for many reasons. And, as always, I take no credit for any of these images, but they're saved to my computer so I really have no idea where they came from.

No one wonder the Beatles were obsessed

Brigitte Bardot was absolutely beautiful. I know I'm not the first to post these at all, but I feel as though she doesn't get as much credit as she should, especiall considering she is the reason the bikini is what it is.

Hier Ou Demain

This is a clip from the 1967 French television film Anna (starring Anna Karina), and she had this cameo, where she sings and in the credits she's listed as: "Une jeune femme dans la soirée dansante," which means "A young woman in the dance." The song she's sing is called "Hier Ou Demain." No one sang in French quite like Marianne.

Lyrics:

Translation:

Hear my heart beating
He did not fight for you
But other than you
I do not know.
Yesterday or tomorrow
I would have said yes.
Yesterday or tomorrow
But not today.
Yes, I could be you,
But you were not there.
I was free like you,
But do not know.
Yesterday or tomorrow
I would have said yes.
Yesterday or tomorrow
But not today.
Yesterday is so far already
And I do not love you.
And tomorrow if you think of me
I am no longer there.
Yesterday or tomorrow
I would have said yes.
Yesterday or tomorrow
But not today.
Yesterday or tomorrow
But not today.

I don't remember where I saw this (so obviously it doesn't belong to me, though I really want to see this movie), but I loved it and here it is for you to enjoy as well.

"If you need me, all you gotta do is send for me. And I'll be there, right there, where I belong."

Four of my favorite Keith pictures. Especially the last. I want him for Christmas this year. Please and Thank you.

Rosie, won't you please come home

Marianne Faithfull had a dog named Rosie, and she appears in quite a few pictures. I'm sure there are more out there, but for right now these are all I can find. She also had a song called "Rosie, Rosie," about a girl named Rosie who ran away from home to join the "upper classes" and the singer wishes she'd come back because home isn't the same without Rosie. I don't know who wrote the song, but it was on her Loveinamist album released in 1967. The first two images were scanned by the wonderful (Diet) Coke and Sympathy, whose blog you can find under my followed blogs. Or you can just click on it, whatever.

Notice how they're wearing very similiar sunglasses. <3
